How We Do It- Install on Top of the Footer

Our certified technicians at Advantage Kwik-Dry will inspect your basement perimeter to ensure there are no water pipes or lines under where they are going to cut the concrete to dig the trench. Next, they will cut out the concrete and dig a trench on top of the footer of the basement wall.

Our technicians will make sure that less concrete is cut and taken out so that your system can be installed on top of the footer. However, there are restrictions to this too.

Our technicians will also install perforated piping in the trenches that have been dug. Gravel is then placed under and around the piping area. They will also conduct testing to check the system is flowing correctly before filling the trench. Finally, concrete is poured back into the basement. Please note that drying time is required for the new concrete.
